Windows & and older versions of PSP
Nn Microsoft's website, the first version of PSP compatible with Windows 7 is X2. On some programs, you may be able to trick it into thinking it's on an older operating system like XP.

If PSP9 runs on XP and above doesn't work, there's only 1 other way if you have it. If you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate, you have to download XP Mode and Virtual PC from Microsoft(these are free). What this means is you end up having Windows XP running right IN Windows 7. I know most consumer pcs have only Windows Home Premium but thought it wouldn't hurt to share the info
