How to install Plugins Empty How to install Plugins

Plugins (aka 'filters') should go in a folder called plug-ins. However, I don't put any of my plug-ins (filters) *in* the actual folder in PSP. I have all my PSP 'stuff' (filters, gradients, patterns, brushes, etc) on my spare drive in their own folders and then I have PSP directed to those folders. It is generally recommended that you not put items actually IN the folders in PSP but outside because the more you have in those folders, the more it will lag down the program and take longer to load up and run. The only time I actually put a filter IN the actual folder in the program is when it is necessary to do so for it to run (I think I have a couple of Eye Candy programs like that). About 98% of my filters run from folders outside of the program files (and I have 8 pages of filters in PSP).
